Cristina Scibè is completing her PhD in the "Art and Heritage" program of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Seville. She is conducting a research on “Metal threads in 11th-15th century Hispano-Islamic and Italian textiles: methodological approach for the investigation of materials and manufacturing techniques”. She holds an MA in Science and technologies for Archaeological and Artistic Heritage from the University of Padua. Actually she is interning at the Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute under the supervision of Dr. Caroline Solazzo.
