Madison Brockman is a current third year fellow in the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. She will graduate in 2019 with a major in paper conservation with minors in library and archive materials conservation. Madison graduated in 2011 from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Art History and a minor in German. There she began her pre-program conservation training with objects at the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology, then with works on paper at Zukor Art Conservation in Oakland, CA. Madison received the bulk of her paper conservation training as a Technician at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Margaret Herrick Library. She rounded out her pre-program development with an objects conservation internship at the Fowler Museum of UCLA. Madison interned at the UCLA Library Conservation Center for her first graduate summer internship, and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco for her second. She is currently spending her internship year at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
