Mariam Sonntag is the acting Gilbert Collection Conservator at the Victoria & Albert Museum, where she has been working as Sculpture Conservator since September 2015. She holds an MA in Stone Conservation and an MA in Conservation of Archaeological and Historical Cultural Heritage. She previously worked as a conservator at the Berlin State Museums, the Israel Museum Jerusalem, the Royal Ontario Museum Toronto, and the Getty Villa in Los Angeles.
