Nicole Passerotti is an assistant conservator at the Field Museum working with the Native North American collection. From 2017-2018 she was the Samuel H. Kress Fellow at the Philadelphia Museum of Art where she also completed her third-year graduate internship. She holds an M.A. and Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation from SUNY Buffalo State College. Nicole has completed conservation internships at the Pitt Rivers Museum at Oxford University, the Kaymacki Archaeological Project in Tekelioglu, Turkey, the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, the deYoung Museum, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the Textile Museum of Oaxaca in Mexico. In addition, she was an outdoor sculpture technician at the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for the Visual Arts at Stanford University. Nicole earned her B.A. in English at Oberlin College where she worked in the Preservation Lab at the library.
