Paola Rojo is conservator-restorer in the painting laboratory and professor in "The Foundations of the theory and practice of the Conservation – Restoration” at Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (IIPC TAREA) from National University of San Martín (UNSAM) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She got Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Art from National University of Art (UNA) and got the specialization in Conservation and Restoration of painting from Domingo Biffarella School in Córdoba (Arg.)
Since 2003 she has been working in projects of conservation and restorations in different national and international collections of art works at the Emilio Caraffa’s modern and contemporary art museum, the National University of Law of Buenos Aires, the National University of Córdoba, among others.
From September to November 2017 she was researching about the mechanical behavior of the painting on canvas with a fellowship in Institute Conservation-Restauration of Valencia, Spain.
She is finishing the Masters in Restoration and Conservation of Artistic and Bibliographic Works at UNSAM, her thesis research is focusing on the mechanical behavior and deterioration of the canvas.
